Bandar Lampung, MINA – Bhayangkara FC and PSIM Yogyakarta faced off in Week 28 of the 2025/2026 BRI Super League at Sumpah Pemuda Stadium, Bandar Lampung, Friday.
The Guardians started the match in 5th place in the standings, while Laskar Mataram started in 9th.
Bhayangkara FC coach Paul Munster implemented a 4-3-3 formation, while PSIM Yogyakarta coach Jean-Paul van Gastel used a 4-1-2-3 formation.
The first threat came from the visitors in the 5th minute, but goalkeeper Aqil Savik (1) was quicker to secure the ball.

The home team was then surprised by a goal from Laskar Mataram youngster Savio Sheva (8) in the 9th minute. Savio’s powerful shot from outside the penalty area was beyond Aqil’s control.
The score was 0-1 in favor of PSIM Yogyakarta.
The match continued with the visitors exerting more pressure throughout the first half.
The score remained 0-1 until halftime. []
