PHILIPINES ULEMA INVITES INDONESIAN DAI TO SPREAD ISLAM IN ITS COUNTRY

IMG_5591Lampung,1 Ramadan 1436/18 June 2015 (MINA) – The member of  Fatwa Committee, Philippines Islamic Da’wah Council, Dr. Watteau Datu Ibrahim said,  Philippines muslim community opened widely to Indonesian preachers to spread Islam in its country.

Wateau stated it in front of the lecturers of Shuffah Qur’an Abdullah Bin Mas’ud (SQABM) Online and Al-Fatah Boarding School, South Lampung, Wednesday (17/6).

“Dakwah in Philippines is very widely, the community there are very opened even if you want to preach to the President,” said Watteau, who graduated from Madinah Islamic University for Islamic Da’wah.

According to him, the Muslim in Philippines are very happy if the dai from  indonesia can develop dakwah and Islamic civilization there.

He also offered to Dai’ah (female ulema) to provide a special Islamic dakwah for Muslim women in Philippines.

Furthermore, he also told the the Mindanao province now proposed to the government to be a special autonomy to apply Islamic law as in Indonesia Aceh province.

We have submitted a proposal to the Government to be approved by parliament in order to apply sharia in Mindanao,” he said.

Wateu presented in Lampung in signing MoU with Shuffah Qur’an Abdullah Bin Mas’ud (SQABM) Online to become a lecturer in Science.

SQABM also one of the higher education institutions specialized in learning Holy Quran based on on line Information Technology.

So that the lecture in SQABM could  be followed by anybody, whenever and wherever. (L/Imt/R03)
