Amman, MINA – The Jordanian Armed Forces on Monday evacuated the 23rd wave consisting of 18 sick children from the Gaza Strip, accompanied by 38 of their parents, as part of the “Jordanian Medical Corridor” initiative.
The Jordanian Armed Forces stated that the children will receive treatment at several hospitals across Jordan, as part of the country’s medical and humanitarian efforts to assist the people of Gaza, Quds Press reported.
The Jordanian Armed Forces reaffirmed their continued commitment to their humanitarian and medical role in support of the Palestinian people, reflecting Jordan’s stance in backing the residents of the Gaza Strip and alleviating their suffering.
This medical evacuation is part of a series of operations that began in March 2025, carried out in cooperation with the Palestinian Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO), through coordination with the relevant authorities and in accordance with approved health and medical standards.[]
