Jakarta, MINA – Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) has strongly condemned the Israeli military action of occupying the Indonesian Hospital (RSI) in northern Gaza since Monday, while urging the international community to take immediate and firm steps to halt these violations.
In an official statement on Friday, the head of the brotherhood division, Sakuri stated that the occupation of a hospital constitutes a serious violation of international humanitarian law, which explicitly protects health facilities from being targeted or used for military purposes.
It has been widely circulated on social media that Israeli occupation forces have taken control of the medical facility, raised the Israeli flag, and installed a banner reading “Rising Lion.”
The phrase is associated with a religious narrative from the Book of Numbers in the Old Testament, which is often used as a symbol of military propaganda.[]
