Indonesia Wins Three Gold Medals at Malaysia Grand Prix Athletic

Kuala Lumpur, MINA – Indonesian athletes won three gold medals at the 1st Malaysia Open Grand Prix Athletic which took place in Kuala Lumpur, on Saturday.

Zohri compete in the men’s 100 meter flagship number, managed to finish 1st after starting the race from the sixth track with a time of 10.20 seconds.

Then, Agustina Mardika Manik who descended on the women’s 800 meter run successfully finished on front with a time of two minutes 11.88 seconds.

And Sapwaturahman won the gold medal with a jump of 7.97 meters. So far, Indonesia has won three gold in this event.

Runners from Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Zohri beat Malaysian runner Zulfiqar Ismail who finished second with 10.41 seconds. Meanwhile, the third rank was won by Taiwan runner, Wei-Hsu Wang with time of 10.44 seconds.

Regarding this, Indonesian Minister of Youth and Sports, Imam Nahrawi welcomed the victory of Lalu Zohri through his personal Instagram account.
