Grand Tabligh Akbar Concludes UAR Volunteer Activities in Aceh Tamiang

Kuala Simpang, MINA – Ukhuwah Al-Fatah Volunteers (UAR) officially concluded their series of disaster response activities in Aceh Tamiang with a Grand Tabligh Akbar held at Darul Mukhlisin Islamic Boarding School, Tanjung Karang, Aceh Tamiang, on Saturday.

The Grand Tabligh Akbar at Darul Mukhlisin Islamic Boarding School was attended by more than a thousand congregants from various areas in Aceh Tamiang, East Aceh, and Tanjung Pura, North Sumatra.

The Head of Darul Mukhlisin Islamic Boarding School, Ustaz Mulkana, Lc, in his brief remarks expressed gratitude for the presence of UAR volunteers in Aceh Tamiang.

He said that at present, the boarding school community and the people of Aceh Tamiang in general have entered a phase of gratitude after previously enduring a phase of patience during the disaster.

“We are now in a phase of gratitude, no longer just patience. We have received many blessings,” he said.

Ustaz Mulkana also expressed appreciation for the presence of UAR volunteers who were actively involved in activities at the boarding school he leads.

“Our diversity is clearly visible. This is the true face of Indonesia, especially among fellow Muslims. We warmly and joyfully welcome the presence of UAR. Continue to provide benefits for the ummah,” he stated.

Also attending the conclusion of UAR activities in Aceh Tamiang were UAR Advisor Agus Sudarmaji, UAR Chairman Endang Sudrajat, Aceh Tamiang Regional Secretary Drs. Syuibun Anwar, the District Military Commander (Dandim), and the Chairman of the Aceh Tamiang Ulama Council, Tgk. H. Syahrizal Darwis.

Since a week after floods struck several regions in Sumatra, UAR has established volunteer posts in West Sumatra, Tanjung Pura (Langkat, North Sumatra), Aceh Tamiang, and Bener Meriah.[]
