Jakarta, 3 Shafar 1436/26 November 2014 (MINA) – State-run diversified miner PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) launched  a gold-investment service called Gold Safety Management Planning (BRANKAS) in Jakarta on Wednesday.

“BRANKAS will provide every gold investor with greater benefits,” said Antam director, Hari Widjajanto  on Wednesday as quoted bykompas.com.

Apart from guaranteed pure fine gold, the company’s fine gold bars were certified by the London Bullion Market Association. It provided investors with the security that their gold bars  recognized and accepted by the global market, The jakartapost quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting on wednesday.

BRANKAS is also aimed at penetrating the domestic retail market as well as anticipating the government’s plan to ban the sale of raw mineral ores.

“Customers can enjoy this BRANKAS service by registering their gold bars in our gold boutiques,” he said, adding that the gold was also insured.

Antam has opened 10 gold boutiques in nine major cities across the archipelago such as in Jakarta, Bandung, West Java, Semarang, Central Java, Makassar, South Sulawesi, and Medan, North Sumatra.(T/P009/R03)
