Tehran, MINA – The Iranian Red Crescent Society has documented that 6,668 civilian locations have been targeted in ongoing attacks by the United States and Israel, including thousands of homes, schools, health centers, and the aid group’s own facilities, in what it describes as violations of the Geneva Conventions, Anadolu Agency reports.
In a detailed statement released Saturday, the Iranian aid organization said the strikes have inflicted widespread damage on civilian infrastructure across the country. The breakdown of targeted sites includes 5,535 residential buildings, 1,041 commercial units, 14 health centers, 65 schools, and 13 facilities affiliated with the Red Crescent itself.
The organization also reported that numerous aid and rescue vehicles were damaged during the attacks, while several relief workers and Red Crescent staff members sustained injuries.
The statement emphasized that targeting civilians constitutes a breach of the Geneva Conventions, urging the international community to respond.

“International institutions, humanitarian aid organizations, and human rights defenders are expected to take urgent and effective measures to protect civilian lives, ensure the safety of aid workers, and guarantee respect for the rules of international humanitarian law,” the Red Crescent said.
The report comes amid escalating conflict in the region, with civilian infrastructure increasingly caught in the crossfire of military operations. The extensive damage to schools and health facilities has raised particular concern among humanitarian organizations operating in the area.[]
