Three Entrepreneurs Win Sociopreneurship Awards

Jakarta, MINA – PT Santos Jaya Abadi through one of its brands, Kopi Kapal Api, Saturday night, officially closed the social entrepreneurship development program that had been carried out throughout 2018.

The closing program entitled “A Cup of Spirit # Make Your Purpose True” was held by announcing three best social entrepreneurs at the Awards Night in Jakarta.

Kopi Kapal Api officiald and Jury decided to give the highest award to the three winners taken from 20 finalists.

The first best award was won by Meybi Agnesya Lomanledo from Kupang with the idea of ​​a Moringa leaf-based food processing business that began with the establishment of the Indonesian Organic Timor Moringa Field School (SL-TMOI).

Azis Pusakantara from Jakarta as the second winner recieved Rp100 million for bis idea of ​​Eco-Pavings, namely making paving blocks that utilize plastic bag waste.

While Elven Aprilnico from Jakarta became the third winner and received award Rp50 million for his Gus Titik Balik Coffee, a coffee shop and roastery which was run through the empowerment of prisoners and former prisoners.

Prisoners with the remaining period of detention for less than six months were provided with coffee brewing skills in a shop located in a jail to serve prison residents and visitors.
