Jakarta, 30 Jumadil Akhir 1436/19 April 2015 (MINA) – In accordance with the the 60th of the Asian-African Conference Commemoration in Jakarta and Bandung in 2015,  Jama’ah Muslim (Hezbollah), a forum for world Muslim unity, issued the following statement:

  1. The fact that the first Asian-African Conference held in Bandung in 1955 has been the driver for the third world countries movement struggle to free themselves from Western colonialism and then the Muslims and the oppressed nations in the Asia-Africa could achieve their independence as a gift from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala. The conference inspired nations in the Asian African continents to unite and support each other in eliminating falsehood and injustice caused by Western colonization. The 1955 Bandung spirit led by some leaders of Muslim countries in the African continent  would correspond with the words of God Almighty Allah in the holy Al-Qur’an, Surah Al Maidah verse 2: “And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.”
  2. Another fact is that for six decades the occupation could not still be wiped out from this earth. Until now, the Palestinians are still under Israeli occupation and this fact is well known by the people from whole world. Non-Aligned Movement encouraged by the Spirit of Bandung in 1955 was already doing something to help the Palestinian people to achieve its independence. However, it should concentrate more on efforts of all members of the movement to the primary mission of the liberated world, especially Asian African countries from western colonialism.
  3. Therefore, we deliver this message and appeal to the leaders of the Non-Aligned Movement and Asian African leaders in general to increase joint efforts in order to achieve the independence for the Palestinians and ensure the world that is free from injustice as a result of the occupation of one nation against another and the tyranny of a nation on his own people as happened to the oppressed Muslims in some countries.
  4. Especially for the leaders of Muslim countries and Muslims in general, we deliver the message as follows:
  5. Muslims should remain consistent in carrying out the commands of Allah and His Messenger in providing help to our Muslim brothers and sisterss in Palestine to achieve independence and liberate Al-Aqsa Mosque from Israeli occupation as it is said in the holy A-Qur’an Surah Al Hujurat 10 as follows: ” The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy.” Also it is important to heed the words of the Prophet of Allaah alaihi Wasallam as follows: “The parable of the believers in a bond of love between them is like one body, if there is one member of the body of the sick, the other members of the body to feel the pain, with can not sleep and had a fever. “(Reported by al-Bukhari, Muslim and Ahmad)
  6. Steer clear of indifferences and the omission of what is happening in Palestine and throughout the world where Muslims are oppressed and tyrannized by those who are hostile to Islam as stated in Holy Al- Qur’an Surah Al Anfal 73 namely: “And those who disbelieved are allies of one another. If you do not do so, there will be fitnah on earth and great corruption.”
  7. In particular, we call on the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to play a role in implementing the constitutional mandate that is actively participating in efforts to bring peace to the world, especially in Palestine and to free citizens of the world from all forms of oppression and injustice in the face of the earth as colonialism in all of its forms is not acceptable in accordance with the humanity;
  8. Only to God Almighty Allah our hope and submission, May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala provide help and protection to Muslims in Palestine and elsewhere in the world and restore the world to justice and true peace, Aamiin.
