Raja Ampat Tourism Attraction in East Nusa Tenggara
NTT, MINA – With its exotic and natural beauty, Raja Ampat is a favorite tourism destination in Papua. If you are looking for another area that has natural beauty like Raja Ampat, the Association of Indonesian Tourism Travel of East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT) provides an alternative place called Thousand Mouth.
Chair of the East Nusa Tenggara Province of Indonesia Travel Association (ASITA), Abed Frans said the Thousand Mouth tourism area in Rote Ndao Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, has a natural charm that is far different from Raja Ampat in West Papua. “The small islands are very similar to those in Raja Ampat,” Abed Frans said. Tabloidbintang.com reported, Sunday (13/1).
According to him, the Thousand Mouth Waters can be developed into a new tourist attraction in Rote Ndao Regency. Natural beauty consists of clear tourism, marine life, and small islands that attract tourists.
The association, according to him, has been trying to offer Thousand Mouth water destinations to tourists since last year. Unfortunately, Abed continued, the move was not yet supported by promotions and other activities in local area.
“In the Rote Ndao there are still very few tourism activities held by the government in the Thousand Mouth, so that it seems to lack promotion,” he said. If the government wants to make the Thousand Mouth waters an exclusive tourist destination and fits the market tastes, then, according to Abud, this area will be crowded with visitors.
What is needed to be done now, Abud continued, is the synergy between the government and tourism actors to develop the tourism attraction of the Thousand Mouth waters and its surroundings. “The government prepares infrastructure and event calendars, then promotes together with tourism agents,” he said.
