Tehran, MINA – The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of the sixth wave of its massive retaliatory operation, “True Promise 4,” striking 27 US military installations across the Gulf region as well as key strategic sites within “Israel.”

The sweeping assault comes just hours after Iran confirmed the martyrdom of its Supreme Leader, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, in the initial US-Israeli aggression.

In its sixth statement on the operation, the IRGC described the latest phase as a large-scale barrage of missiles and drones conducted “with full throttle.”

The strikes targeted 27 locations linked to US bases, in addition to high-value Israeli assets, including the Tel Nof Airbase, the Israeli military’s general headquarters at HaKirya in Tel Aviv, and a major defense industrial complex in the same city.

The IRGC vowed that Iran’s armed forces “will not allow the sound of sirens to cease in the occupied territories and at US bases,” warning that they would “continue harsh retaliation through successive blows that will leave the enemies regretting their actions.”

Earlier waves of the operation, detailed in previous IRGC statements, had already expanded the conflict’s scope dramatically. The fifth wave of strikes successfully targeted the Abdullah Al-Mubarak Air Base in Kuwait with ballistic missiles and drones, leading to the destruction of its main infrastructure and the killing and injury of a large number of US forces. Other major installations hit include the Harir base in Iraq, home to US special forces, and the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.

The IRGC also confirmed that its strikes had extended to naval assets. An MSP vessel, tasked with transporting ammunition to US ships at Jebel Ali Port, was struck by four drones and forced out of service. Additionally, an MST combat support ship refueling US vessels in the Indian Ocean was hit by Iranian Qadr 380 missiles.

The initial waves of the operation, which the IRGC noted are utilizing more advanced, precise, and powerful missiles than in previous iterations of “True Promise,” also struck strategic Israeli targets, including the naval base and military yard in Haifa, Ramat David Air Base, and military-industrial facilities in Bet Shemesh and Ashdod.

The intensifying military campaign is taking place against a backdrop of profound national mourning and political transition in Iran, following the martyrdom of Leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei and top commanders. The IRGC, in extending its condolences, described the late Leader as the “leader of the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution” and affirmed that his martyrdom would only strengthen the nation’s resolve.

The Iranian army has also issued statements confirming its forces are engaged in extensive drone operations and are carrying out “painful operations” against American and Israeli targets, signaling that the sustained and multi-front campaign is far from over. Israeli media is already reporting significant damage and destruction in Tel Aviv from the latest missile salvos.[]
