Gaza, 9 Rabiul Awwal 1434 H/20 January 2013 (Ma’an/MINA) – An official in the Hamas government in Gaza said Sunday that the president of Tunisia will visit the coastal strip in early February.

Cabinet secretary-general Abdul Salam Siyam said preparations are underway for the solidarity visit of President Moncef Marzouki.

Malaysian Prime Minister Muhammad Najib Abdul Razak is set to visit the Gaza Strip this week.

He was originally expected to arrive on Monday, but Gaza government spokesman Ihab al-Ghasin said he would now come on Tuesday morning.

He confirmed that the Malaysian premier will meet with his Gaza counterpart Ismail Haniyeh and inaugurate a number of Malaysian-supported projects in the strip.
