Banda Aceh, MINA – Household issues, including marital relationships, child-rearing patterns, and family dynamics, were among the complaints received by patients attending the free family consultation and treatment service held by the FDPeduli Mobile Clinic on Sunday at the Al Badar Mosque, Gampong Kota Baru, Kuta Alam, Banda Aceh.

The event, part of the regular free health care program after the dawn prayer with the BBC Fajr Congregation, featured an expert in Islamic Law and Family Law, Dr. Agustin Hanafi, Lc, MA, a senior academic and Head of the Family Law Study Program at the Faculty of Sharia and Law and the Postgraduate Program at Ar-Raniry State Islamic University.

Dr. Agustin, who was also accompanied by his wife, Hayail Umroh, M.Psi., stated that patients had many family issues, such as husbands neglecting their wives and children due to a long marriage age gap, wives being much older than their husbands, wives wanting to sue their husbands, in-laws wanting to control their property and pressuring their wives to distance themselves from their mothers, and many other complaints.

“Problems with husband and wife, inheritance, and psychological disorders. Age-gap marriages where the wife is older than the husband and wants to sue her husband. Husbands and children are stressed because they lack competitiveness and are vulnerable,” said Agustin.

Furthermore, Agustin said, the most frequently asked questions revolved around marital relations, communication within the household, the rights and obligations of spouses, and even issues of education and child development amidst the challenges of modern life.

FDP Chairperson Dr. Nurkalis stated that family consultation services were specifically offered at this free treatment session because they are an important part of the FDP Peduli Mobile Clinic program.

“Public health issues are not always solely related to physical conditions, but are also closely related to family resilience as the foundation of social life. Therefore, we will continue to provide family consultation services at the FDPeduli Mobile Clinic,” she said.

From April to the first week of June 2026, the number of patients treated at the FDPeduli Mobile Clinic was 724, distributed among the various specialist doctors present.
