Egyptian Intelligence Delegation Returns to Gaza Again

Gaza, MINA – An Egyptian security delegation on Monday evening arrived in the besieged Gaza Strip through the Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing 24 hours after leaving for Israel.

In a statement, the authority of crossings said a delegation led by deputy director of the intelligence directorate Ahmed Farouq and other intelligence officers arrived in Gaza, PIC reported.

The same delegation had left Gaza on Sunday after meeting with officials from Hamas and other Palestinian factions.

The Egyptians are making efforts to alleviate the blockade on Gaza after managing to defuse the recent military tension between the Palestinian resistance and Israel.(R/R04/P2)
