Jakarta, MINA – The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the Israeli military action that intercepted several ships belonging to the international humanitarian mission Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) 2.0 in the waters off Cyprus in the Eastern Mediterranean.
The Ministry’s First Spokesperson, Yvonne Mewengkang, said that at least ten ships have been confirmed seized, including the Amanda, Barbaros, Josef, and Blue Toys.
“According to information from the Global Peace Convoy Indonesia (GPCI), aboard the Josef is an Indonesian citizen named Andi Angga Prasadewa, who is a delegate of GPCI – Rumah Zakat,” Yvonne said in a written statement on Monday.
Meanwhile, efforts are still underway to contact the ship carrying a journalist named Bambang Noroyono to determine the status of both the vessel and the individual.
