Riyadh, MINA – Two Indonesian citizens sustained minor injuries in a Houthi attack targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on October 11. The Indonesian Embassy in Riyadh confirmed that neither victim was an Umrah pilgrim.
The Indonesian Embassy said it received the information from Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday.
Both Indonesians received medical treatment at separate hospitals, Sulaiman Habib Al-Shahafah Hospital and Sulaiman Habib Al-Takhasusi Hospital. They were discharged later the same day, according to the embassy.
Following further attacks on October 12 and 13, the embassy conducted additional checks at several hospitals to determine whether other Indonesian nationals had been injured or killed.

Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) reported that an earlier attack on October 10 killed 12 people and injured 309 others. The fatalities included Saudi, Bangladeshi, American, Egyptian, Jordanian, Palestinian, Syrian and Sudanese nationals.

They advised Indonesians to check flight updates directly with their airlines and rely exclusively on official information from the Indonesian Embassy in Riyadh and the Indonesian Consulate General in Jeddah to avoid misinformation.
