Syubban Fatayat Premarital Seminar Highlights Mental and Financial Readiness

Bogor, MINA – A premarital seminar organized by Syubban Fatayat in Cileungsi, Bogor, West Java, on Sunday emphasized the importance of knowledge, mental preparedness, financial stability, and physical readiness in building a family.

The seminar, titled “Marriage Is More Than Love: Prepare Your Knowledge, Mental Readiness, Finances, and Physical Health,” aimed to equip prospective couples with the understanding and preparation needed for married life.

The event featured three speakers: Arief Rahman, S.E., an economic practitioner; Rahmi Dahlan, S.Psi., M.Pd., a clinical psychologist; and Rizal Wahid, founder of Jagonya Nikah. They shared perspectives on marriage preparation from economic, psychological, and family-life standpoints.

Seminar organizing committee chair Andi Rahman said marriage involves much more than preparing for a ceremony. It requires knowledge and mental readiness to navigate life together as a couple.

He explained that prospective spouses need to understand their respective responsibilities and prepare themselves to face the challenges of married life.

Andi expressed hope that participants would leave the seminar with a renewed determination to keep learning and improving themselves as they prepare to build a family.

He emphasized that preparation should cover knowledge, mental readiness, finances, and physical well-being as part of the effort to establish a harmonious and responsible household.
