MSF DELEGATION VISIT PALESTINIAN MINISTRY OF HEALTH

Gaza City, 27 Rabiul Akhir 1435 / 27 February 2014 (MINA) – Ministry of Health in Gaza hosted on Wednesday a delegation of Doctors Without Borders-France (MSF).

Dr Mohammed al-Kashef Director of International Cooperation at of the ministry received the MSF delegation of Project Coordinator Renié Medrol, Deputy Project Coordinator Ayman al-Jarooshah and Medical Manager Mohammed Abu Mughseeb.

Medrol said the MSF is pleased to provide medical services of plastic surgery, physiotherapy and intensive care to the public health sector in Gaza, ALRAY, Palestinian Media Agency quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

She hoped to broaden the scope of services that the MSF offers to include mental health and development of human resource in the field of drug and disposal warehouses management.

Al-Kashef welcomed the delegation and appreciated the MSF’s active role in developing plastic surgery, physiotherapy and intensive care services.

He particularly thanked Ms Medrol’s efforts made during her assignment in Gaza, which significantly contributed to the continuing, fruitful cooperation between the ministry and the MSF. (T/E01/IR)
