KHATIB: PA REMOVED JERUSALEM FROM ITS CIRCLE OF CONCERNS

Al-Quds (Jerusalem), 3 Rabi’ul Awwal 1435/5 January 2014 (MINA) – The deputy head of the Islamic movement inside the 1948 occupied territories Sheikh Kamal Khatib warned that Jerusalem is exposed to an unprecedented process of Judaization.

Khatib told PIC that the Israeli occupation has taken advantage of the situation in the Arab region, and specifically the events taking place in Egypt and Syria, to accelerate the implementation of its Judaization plans.

He warned that Jerusalem is exposed to the fiercest campaign ever, and called on the Arab leaders to provide it with all forms of support.

Sheikh Khatib stressed that the Israeli government has focused on changing the demographic reality of Jerusalem by bringing in big numbers of settlers after giving them unprecedented temptations to encourage them to settle in the occupied city.

Zionism and Zionists propaganda versus the reality in Palestine: The Zionist Jews should make a choice between: “to live in peace side by side with Palestinians in Palestine” or “go back to Khazaria.”

According to DR. Israel Shahak, “The wish for peace, so often assumed as the Israeli aim, is not a principle of Israeli policy, while the wish to extend Israeli domination and influence is.” and “Israel is preparing for a war, nuclear if need be, for the sake of averting domestic change not to its liking, if it occurs in some or any Middle Eastern states…

Israel clearly prepares itself to seek overtly a hegemony over the entire Middle East…, without hesitating to use for the purpose all means available, including nuclear ones.” The Israeli nuclear arsenal has profound implications for the future of peace in the Middle East, and indeed, for the entire planet.

It is clear from Israel Shahak that Israel has no interest in peace except that which is dictated on its own terms, and has absolutely no intention of negotiating in good faith to curtail its nuclear program or discuss seriously a nuclear-free Middle East. (T/P02/P04)
