LIEBERMAN: ISRAEL SEEKS OTHER ALLIES THAN US

Tel Aviv, 17 Muharram 1435/21 November 2013 (MINA) – The Israeli Occupation Foreign Minister, Avigdor Lieberman says Tel Aviv needs mush more allies to be replaced with the United States.

“The link between Israel and its main strategic partner the United States has weakened. ” Lieberman said on Wednesday. So, Israel needs other allies to replaced US.

Lieberman admitted that Washington itself has “too many challenges,” including its own “domestic economic problems.” The Israeli foreign minister also suggested that the US is dependent upon money from some Arab countries.

Lieberman, however, failed to specify any alternative partner. Press tV reported as monitored by Mi’raj News Agency (MINA).

On Tuesday, US President Barack Obama called on senators to give more time for diplomacy with the Islamic Republic.

Israel occupation began its lobbying efforts inside the US after it found out that talks between Iran and the world’s six major powers were coming close to an agreement in the Swiss city of Geneva.

During the last round of talks in Geneva on November 7-10, a first-step agreement was within reach but the position taken by French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius in favor of the Israeli regime and a lack of commitment by US Secretary of State John Kerry spoiled the negotiations.

On Tuesday evening (19/11) Israel occupation warplanes launched seven air raids north and south Gaza strip, no injuries reported.

Alray news media reported that two raids targeted two poultry farms to the of south Manara neighborhood east of Khan Yunis, without causing injuries.

While MINA’s correspondent in Gaza confirmed the attacks saying that the Zionist Air Force flew several war planes over the Gazan air space. “Israel occupation war planes including Drones, Apache and F16 simultaneously bombarded areas from north to south of Gaza since Tuesday night until this morning, please pray,” said Abu Fikri who is currently work for Indonesian hospital building in Gaza.

The war planes also attacked the recently discovered Qassam tunnel west of Qararah town. He said that the recent raid targeted a vacant land in al- Zannah area in Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis, no injuries reported.

They also attacked a site behind Bisan garden in Biet Lahiya, no injuries reported.

In a comment to Alray, Hamas movement spokesman, Mushir al-Masri considered these raids a crime against Palestinian people, noting that Palestinian factions are ready to do its best to defend the Palestinian people. (T/P04/E1)
