GAZAN RESISTANCE MOVEMENT: ISRAEL FABRICATED TUNNEL FINDING

Gaza, 20 Jumadil Awwal 1435/21 March 2014 (MINA) – Gaza tunnels which Israel claimed were found on Thursday was fabricated, as the tunnel has been uncovered following landslide hit the tunnel few days ago, according to spokesman of Gazan resistance movement Al-Qassam Brigades Abu Ubaidah.

Abu Ubaidah said in a press conference on Thursday night (20/3) that the Israeli claim was part of the Zionist entity obsession to show up ‘its victory’ by finding and halting the movement’s activity through the tunnel and accused them using it for smuggling arms.

The Hamas’s military wing also said Israeli security forces and media showed exaggerated claims after ‘finding’ the tunnels and ‘thwart’ movements in Palestine, he also confirmed that such fabrication will not down the spirit of its resistance, Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) correspondent reported from Gaza.

“Israeli claim is nothing new, as they have claimed failed military operations in Gaza, but this case (the tunnel) caused by landslide of bad weather since the past two months,” Ubaidah added.

Ubaidah continued, “the Palestinian resistance fighters have improved the tunnel despite the Israeli drones, cameras, and all its military equipments.
