Dozens of Illegal Jewish Tarnish Al-Aqsa Mosque

Jerusalem, MINA – Dozens of illegal Jewish settlers who were escorted by police forces on Thursday morning tarnished Al-Aqsa mosque in occupied Jerusalem.

According to local sources, as the Palestine Information Center reported Jewish extremist rabbis entered the mosque through the Al-Maghariba gate and toured its grounds under Israeli police guard.

“Al-Aqsa Mosque is exposed to desecration every day by illegal Jewish settlers and Israeli police forces in the morning and evening except on Friday and Saturday,” the report said.

The report also explained that Israeli police closed the Al-Maghariba gate which was used by Jews to enter the mosque at 10:30 a.m. after settlers finished their tour of the holy site.

“Israeli police opened the Al-Maghariba gate to the Jewish settlers and closed it again after they finished the tour, then in the afternoon, the same gate was reopened for night tours by illegal Jewish settlers,” the report explained.

During the presence of settlers in the Al-Aqsa mosque complex, restrictions on entry were treated by Muslim worshipers at the entrance to the mosque and their identities were confiscated until they left the holy place. (T/RE1)
