Nayifah Kaabanah, Palestinian Woman Shot by Israeli Military

Al-Quds, MINA – Palestinian Ministry of Health on Sunday informed the identity of a Muslim woman who was martyred and shot dead by Israel Forces on Wednesday at Qalandiya crossing, northern al-Quds.

In the official statement, the Muslim woman who died is Nayifah Muhammad Kaabanah (50), a resident of the city of Ramon, provinces of Ramallah and Birah.

According to the PIC, a number of eyewitnesses on-site saw Israeli forces concentrate at Qalandiya crossing, firing at the Palestinian Muslim women from a short distance, on the pretext that she carried a knife.

In video footage widely circulated on social media, it appears that Israeli forces that fired were close enough to a few meters, even though the women did not endanger or threaten them.
