Gaza, 4 Jumadil Awwal 1437/12 Februari 2016 (MINA) – A senior official of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Gaza has expressed his support to an idea put forward by Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) to declare Monday as the Al-Aqsa Love Day.

“We are very thankful and grateful to our brothers for all forms of support being made to our struggle, and it is an obligation that  should be done by all Islamic movements throughout the world,” Dr Khadr Habib told Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) corespondent Abu Muslim in an interview at his office in Gaza City, Thursday (11/2).

The Al-Aqsha Love Day will be unveiled on the anniversary of 10 years Ghazwah Fath al-Aqsa (the Aqsa Liberation War) in Al-Fatah Bording School, the center of Markaz Muslim Jamaat (Hezbollah), on Friday (12/2).

Thus, every Monday Muslims are expected to renew their commitment to liberate the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the hands of the Israeli occupiers, intensify the struggle for the liberation and raise funds through the tubes of Love Al-Aqsa.

In addition, on the Day of Love Al-Aqsa, Muslims are also expected to use the attributes of Love Aqsa especially in schools or madrassas when teachers observe marosims, while the Imam asked to recite QS. Al-Isra verses 1-8 while leading prayers.

He said the extraordinary efforts made by Jamaah Muslims in Indonesia have strengthened Palestinian People in patience, supporting the fighters in Palestine.

Khadr said these efforts served as a great example for all Muslims in the world.

“We want all parties, especially all movements in the world to dedicate and put the Al-Aqsa Mosque as a priority in the fight and make every effort to provide all needs required by the mujahideen in Palestine,” he said.

“We call for serious preparations, especially for the youth, to understand and make the perception that the military training as a form of preparation for the final battle between us and the Israeli army is going to happen in the land of Palestine,” he added.

Ghazwah Fath al Aqsa was declared by the late Imam Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) Muhyiddin Hamidy in 2006. The struggle was manifested in the form of socialization on the condition of Al-Aqsa to the Muslims of the world by organizing various seminars, mass gathering, long march themed Love Al-Aqsa, and the other events.

jama’ah Muslimin also held the International Conference on Al-Quds in Bandung in 2012, the Global March to Jerusalem and send volunteers to participate in the Mavi Marmara flotilla to break Israel’s blockade on the Gaza Strip in 2010.  (L/P008/R07)
