Bandung, MINA – Persib Bandung secured their spot in the group stage of the 2026/2027 AFC Champions League (ACL) Two after a narrow 1-0 victory over the Philippines’ Manila Digger in a preliminary match at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung Regency, on Monday night.
According to Persib.co.id, the winning goal for the “Blue Prince” (Pangeran Biru) came only in the dying moments of the match. Mariano Peralta emerged as the hero, scoring in the 89th minute to send “Maung Bandung” through to Group E.
The match was a tight affair from the start. After a goalless first half, Persib ramped up the pressure immediately after the break.
Ragnar Oratmangoen repeatedly attempted to create space down the left flank, but Manila Digger’s tight defense made it difficult to carve out clear-cut chances.
