Palestinian Foreign Minister to Visit Indonesia Early Month

Jakarta, MINA – Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Maliki is scheduled to visit Indonesia on December 4 for a bilateral meeting with Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi.

The meeting that will take place in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jakarta, will also discuss the latest issues in the holy land of Palestine.

In the bilateral meeting, the issue of Palestinian national unity government will be the main concern,’ Foreign Ministry spokesman Armanatha Nasir told the media here on Thursday (30/11).

Armanatha also mentioned that the meeting will discuss Indonesia’s development capacity building program for Palestine which continues year by year.

“Currently there are 1,800 Palestinians who followed the capacity building program and receive total aid of USD10 million,” he said.

The man who is familiarly called Tata, said Indonesia continued repeatedly to strengthen the commitment of support for Palestine in various national and international forums, including the Cooperation among East Asian Countries for Palestinian Development (CEAPAD) meeting, the Asian-African Conference and the Indonesian Hospital initiated by MER-C in the Gaza Strip, Palestine and other.(L/RE1/RS5)
