Palestine has the majority support of the international community, expressed through the 90 resolutions passed by the United Nations in favor of the Palestinian cause.

‘In various domestic and international forums, Venezuela has reiterated its solidarity with the cause of Palestine and its people, which have been subjected to the expansionist policies of the Israeli Government for more than 50 years,’ she said.

As a result of the Israeli attacks, at least two million Palestinians have been forced to live in exile and Palestine was left with only 12 percent of its historic territory, which now covers the Gaza Strip and the West Bank area. (T/RS05/RS01)
