U.S OFFICIALLY STOPS THE AID TO ISRAEL

      Washington, 20 Rabiul Akhir  1434/2 March 2013 (MINA) – The  U.S. President Barack Obama at a parliamentary meeting  on Friday (1/3) said that Wahington will not give aid to Israel in 2013.

      Every year, the U.S. government gives a fresh funds to Israel at least $ 760 million. The fund does not include the military aid of $ 3 billion, according to www.antiwar.com report monitored by Mi’raj News Agency (MINA), Saturday.

      The president stated that as long as the crisis does not recovered yet, the U.S government will not give aid to the Jewish state. The U.S. government is right now facing a massive layoffs, increasing domestic unemployment and the decreasing value of U.S. dollar are the main cause of the crisis in America.

      Obama also stated in the parliament meeting that his government must have a struggle to repay debt which has reached  $ 16.6 trillion. “Let’s be clear up our program. It must  be decided now. If we do not cut of our spending, United Stated of America will surely be shattered “, said Obama.

The U.S parliamentary speaker John Boehner also urged Obama ‘s government to be able to get out from this crisis.” The welfare of American people must be the main priority in Obama ‘s government. He must not  sacrifice his own people and priorate other nations, ” said Boehner.
Israel planed to use the American aid to produce the Iron Dome (rocket protection system) and the manufacture of missile Arrow and David’s Sling to keep them from Palestinian rocket attack.

      Israeli Ambassador to U.S. Michael Oren said that Israel is the closest ally of the United States in the Middle East. It is reasonable if the U.S. gives aid to Israel to maintain the peace in the Middle East. But Israel deeply understand the condition of the domestic American economy  which has been in crisis.

      American-Israel Public Affair  Committee (AIPAC) tried to lobbied the U.S State Secretary John Kerry to pass their dollars to Israel. But it seems that it would be difficult to achieve remaining the condition of the domestic U.S. get  worse.

      Meanwhile in American parliament, Democrats and Republics party urged the government to immediately make a breakthrough in solving the crisis. They also  urged the government to pay more attention to domestic affairs and stop foreign aid, especially to Israel.
      It  is the first time for the U.S. government which decided the dismissal aid to Israel since decades. This decision will certainly be a surprise to many people, because the aid to Israel is one of the most sacred thing in the U.S. budget. (T/P04/E1)
