Gaza, MINA – Two Palestinian children were killed by Israeli gunfire in the Gaza Strip on Monday morning, as Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement persisted for the 100th consecutive day.
According to Palestinian media sources, a 15-year-old child was shot dead by Israeli forces in the al-Alam area of Rafah, in southern Gaza. Earlier, medical sources reported the killing of 17-year-old Hussein Abu Sublah by Israeli gunfire near the al-Tahliya area east of Khan Yunis. The fatalities followed the death on Sunday of a young man who succumbed to injuries from a previous Israeli attack on the al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis.
Concurrently, media sources reported that on Monday morning, the Israeli army demolished residential buildings east of Khan Yunis, accompanied by heavy gunfire from military vehicles in the area.
Additionally, two Israeli airstrikes were reported east of Khan Yunis, while a military helicopter fired machine guns indiscriminately toward the northeastern areas of the al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.[]
