Samarinda, MINA – Today’s football schedule features a big match between two Super League 2-25/26 giants, Persija Jakarta and Persib Bandung, a classic rivalry that’s not just about getting full points.
Uniquely, the match, which will be broadcast live on Indosiar and streamed live on Vidio at 3:30 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time), will take place at Borneo FC’s home ground, Segiri Stadium in Samarinda.
Persija vs Persib in Week 32 is the biggest match of the Super League this week. This is not only due to the long history and rivalry between the two clubs, but also to their respective positions in the Super League standings this season.
Persib currently tops the standings with 72 points, while Persija sits in third place with 65 points.

Between Persib and Persija, Borneo FC sits in second place. Borneo has the same number of points as Persib but is tied for second place due to a lower head-to-head record.
Meanwhile, for Persib, a win would secure their top spot in the standings and put pressure on Borneo, who play just one day later. A win would also ensure Persib no longer has a chance of winning the title this season.
Meanwhile, Borneo is also watching the Persija vs. Persib match from afar, taking place at their usual home stadium. Borneo certainly hopes Persib fails to win against Persija so they can return to the top of the standings by defeating Bali United on Monday (May 11).
That’s what makes this Persija vs. Persib match so crucial. The outcome of this duel could determine this season’s Super League champion. []
