The Palestinian Forum in Britain as the organizer said in a statement the festival aims to contribute to strengthening the Palestinian narrative against the propaganda of Israel and its allies in the world.

The festival, according to organizers, also carries a number of political messages, the most important of which is that the Palestinians in Britain are Palestinians who dream of the right to return.

During the festival, awards were given to a number of pro-Palestinian figures in the UK, most notably Richard Boyd Barrett, an Irish MP known for his pro-Palestinian stance.

In his speech, Barrett stressed, the Palestinian people deserve support, because they have suffered greatly under Israeli occupation for decades and are still refugees living in camps. (T/RE1)
