SQABM SIGNS MOU WITH LECTURER FOR DAKWAH IN THE PHILIPPINES

Lampung,2 Ramadan 1436/19 June 2015 (MINA) –Representative of the Online Shuffah Al-Qur’an  Abdullah Bin Mas’ud (SQABM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dr. Watteau Datu Ibrahim, Lecturer of Science and Fiqih in Dakwah  from Mindanao Philippines.

The MoU signing was held at the SQABM central office,located in Al-Fatah Muhajirun boarding school, Negararatu Natar, South Lampung, Wednesday (17/6).

Academic Affairs staff  of SQABM, Muflihuddin, LC, said to Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) that  the MoU  consists the readiness of Dr. Watteau in becoming a Lecturer of Science Dakwah  in SQABM and  also to facilitate SQABM programmes in the Philippines.

“There will be a research programme for students of SQAMB in the Philipine in the near future. We ask Dr. Watteau in the MoU to facilitate the research,” He said.

Muflihuddin expects the presence of SQABM can deliver graduate students who can are able to solve human problems with Al-Qur’an.

SQABM is also one of the higher education institutions specialized in the study of the Holy Quran, in which the study is done in online classes. This has allowed lectures in SQABM to be followed by those wanting to study the courses from any part of the globe.

Watteau  highly welcomes the plan of SQABM in the Philippines and is ready to facilitate SQABM researchs in the Philippines Scheduled to commence six months to come.

“I am very happy if there are Muslims who do researchs there, and I will present them to the scholars there, I will wait for a formal proposal from SQABM,” he said.(L/Imt/NMT)
