Saudi Crown Prince to Meet President Jokowi at the Bogor Palace

Jakarta, MINA – The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Prince Muhammad bin Salman (MBS) is going to arrive in Jakarta on Monday afternoon and will meet with President Joko Widodo on Tuesday, at the Presidential Bogor Palace.

“The arrival of Prince MBS to Indonesia is a series of working visits to Asia,” explained Desra Percaya, Director General of the Asia Pacific and Africa Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the press, Friday in Jakarta.

He said, during a meeting at the Bogor Palace, Prince MBS would be accompanied by a temporary delegation. The President also would be accompanied by relevant ministers, one of which was the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources.

The bilateral meeting, continued Desra, is going to focus on increasing cooperation in the economic field, the interests of the people, and possibly discussing regional and global issues.

On Tuesday, MBS is also scheduled to meet with Vice President Jusuf Kalla and hold a business meeting in Jakarta.

Desra said, a series of meetings were expected to produce an agreement that will benefit to both countries. (TL/Sj/P2)
