Putrajaya International Security Dialogue Kicks Off in Malaysia Friday

Putrajaya International Security Dialogue to address counter-terrorism .

PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia, MINA – Malaysia will commence the meeting of Putrajaya International Security Dialogue 2018 on January 5-6, with the presence of ministers and deputy ministers of 20 countries.

About 1,000 local and foreign officials, including members of diplomatic missions, NGOs, academics and students will take part in the event as well.

The event will include sessions on Islam as a moderate religion, fighting terrorism and the role of religion in spreading peaceful values.

The meeting is organized by Malaysia’s Home Ministry in cooperation with the World Muslim League for the second time.

The dialogue will carry the theme “Wisdom and Moderation in Countering Terrorism”. (T/RS5/RS1)
