Puspa Arumsari Wins First Pencak Silat Gold for Indonesia

Jakarta, MINA – Entering the 10th day of the 2018 Asian Games, Indonesia again won a gold medal. This time came from an Indonesian female athlete Puspa Arumsari.

Puspa won gold on Pencak Silat sports competition for women’s singles in Padepokan Pencak Silat, TMII, Jakarta, Monday (27/8).

Puspa got a total of 467 points, ahead of Nurzuhairah Mohammad Yazid from Singapore and Cherry May Regalado from the Philippines.

This became Indonesia’s first gold medal from the 2018 Asian Games Pencak Silat branch after the day before Amri Rusdana presented bronze.

In addition of the medal, Indonesia now has bagged 60 medals with 20 gold medals, 14 silver medals and 26 bronze medals.(LT/R04/RS5)
