Kuwait Donates $ 250 Million in Aid to Yemen

Geneva, MINA – The State of Kuwait pledged Tuesday to donate $ 250 million to contribute to the financing of the humanitarian response plan in Yemen,SPA reported.

Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah said in a speech before the donor conference for Yemen in Geneva that his country’s participation in the conference is a confirmation of its role in the international bidding process in all parts of the world.

Al-Jarallah affirmed his country’s condemnation and rejection of the rocket attacks against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, undermining the chances of peace and threatening the security and stability of the entire region.

He also affirmed Kuwait’s full support for the measures taken by the Kingdom to maintain its security and stability, praising the generous efforts of the Kingdom and the UAE to meet the needs of the Yemeni brothers. (T/RS5/RS1)
