ISRAELI OCCUPATION POLICE ATTACK WORSHIPERS IN AL AQSA MOSQUE

        Jerusalem, 15 Rabi’ul Akhir 1434 H/25 February 2013 (MINA) – Israeli occupation police attacked worshipers in the Al-Aqsa mosque, Jerusalem after they performed Friday prayer.
       A witness said Israeli police fired bullets and tear gas that resulted dozens of people injured, Al Qassam website quoted by Miraj News Agency (MINA) as saying.
       Israeli police entered the holy place trhough three gates and arrested some worshipers. Among the wounded worshipers was a young girl who was beaten by the police, some paramedics, and the residents of Jerusalem.
       Israeli sources said they stormed Al-Aqsa the mosque to quell protests which planned to be carried out after Friday prayers.
      Recent Israeli assault against the al-Aqsa Mosque has raised widespread concern in particular Palestinians and international communities as wall as Islamic countries.
      Palestinian officials condemned the brutal action and called on international organizations particularly the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to address serious action against Israel’s attack.
       Israeli acts with their recent provocation to publish ads on Internet sites has urged Zionist citizens to attack al-Aqsa Mosque. Zionist regime of Israel has recently released the photo of al-Aqsa Mosque without the Gold Dome.
       Al-Quds committee in a statement stated that the picture is  a real arrogance of the Zionist regime. This is not a coincidence, but it indicated that it was their decision and plan to succeed Zionist claim to the al-Aqsa Mosque as their place of worship.
       Meanwhile, Sheikh al-Azhar, Ahmad Tayyib also reacted. In an interview with the Egyptian newspaper Al-Masry Al-Youm al-Sabi ‘ he asked Muslims to unite and prevent Al Aqsa from the destroying actions of the Zionist Israeli regime. He also asked wolrd freedom activists to search for truth and justice as their chastity.
       The increasing appeal of the Zionists which demanded immediately  to built the Solomon temple as replacing  al-Aqsa.  To prove their claim for the existence history, they continued digging tunnels under al-Aqsa Mosque. U p to now, they did not find any evidence for his claim.  The digging tunnels weakens the foundation of Al Aqsa building. (T/P04/E1)
