Israel to Attend Economic Workshops in Bahrain

Tel Aviv, MINA – Israeli business delegation will attend a US-led workshops in Bahrain next week on Palestinian economic proposals.

“This is part of an upcoming peace plan,” said Israeli Foreign Minister Katz, reported MEE on Sunday, June 16.

The United States called the meeting a workshop to improve Palestinian economy as part of a broader effort by government of President Donald Trump to tackle Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

A source said Israel would send a business delegation but no government officials to the June 25-26 workshop, which was boycotted by Palestinian leadership.

“Israel will be at Bahrain conference and all coordination will be carried out,” Katz told Israel Channel 13 News in New York.
