ISRAELI OCCUPATION FORCES ARREST 20 PALESTINIANS IN WEST BANK RAIDS

      West Bank, 11 Muharram 1435/15 November 2013 (MINA) – Israeli occupation forces arrested 20 Palestinians in fresh raids carried out in the West Bank on Thursday.

      An Israeli occupation force stormed the southern town of Hebron and searched several homes in the area, the Palestinian Prisoners Club said in a statement, Anadolu Agency quoted by Mi’raj News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

      At least 15 Palestinians were detained in the Israeli crackdown, according to the statement.

      Five other Palestinians were arrested by Israeli occupation forces in the northern West Bank town of Jenin.

      The raids come one day after an Israeli occupation soldier was killed in Afula’s central bus station after being stabbed by a young Palestinian man from Jenin.

      Israel’s northern police commander, Ronny Attia, told Israeli occupation Army Radio that the Palestinian attacker had carried out the assault because he had relatives languishing in Israeli jails.

      Israeli occupation forces stage daily raids into the West Bank, claiming they are looking for “wanted” Palestinians.

Kidnap Palestinian children

      Dozens of Israeli occupation soldiers invaded the Al-Obeydiyya town, near Bethlehem, broke into several homes, and kidnapped four children. The army also kidnapped one Palestinian in Nablus.

      Local sources have reported that the soldiers kidnapped Fadi Shafiq Abu Sarhan, 16 years of age, Mohammad Amin Abu Sarhan, 16, Mohammad Ezzat Abu Sarhan, 15, and Anas Mahmoud Khalifia, 16.

     All kidnapped children were cuffed, blindfolded and were moved to the Gush Etzion military base, Al-Qassam media office report.

     Furthermore, soldiers invaded Dar Salah village, east of Bethlehem, broke into the home of Ghazi Ismael Salah, and hand his son Tha’er, 19, a military warrant ordering him to head to Gush Etzion for interrogation.

     Dozens of Zionist soldiers also invaded the Qaryoun neighborhood, in the Old City of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and kidnapped Mohammad Herzallah, 22.

     The Zionist army violently broke into and searched the property, and assaulted Herzallah’s father. (T/P09/P03/E1)
