Bogor, MINA – Imaam Yakhsyallah Mansur invited Muslims to observe the Ramadan fast by following the example of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.
“Let us observe the Ramadan fast by following the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), so that we may receive guidance from Allah,” Imaam Yakhsyallah said during the Ta’lim Akhir Sya’ban gathering at Al-Fatah Islamic Boarding School, Pasirangin, Cileungsi, Bogor, West Java, on Sunday.
Throughout the holy month of Ramadan, he called on the congregation to spend more time staying in mosques, performing congregational prayers, voluntary prayers, engaging in dhikr, reciting the Qur’an, and ultimately performing i’tikaf during the last ten days of Ramadan.
“Do not let our intensity of going to the mosque decrease during the fasting month,” he said before thousands of congregants from the Greater Jakarta area at the religious gathering themed “Strengthening the Spirit of Ramadan in the Practice of Jama’ah Imaamah and the Liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

Imaam Yakhsyallah hoped that during the month of Ramadan, each congregant would strive to complete the recitation of the Qur’an at least three times.
In addition, he encouraged the congregation to give more charity, especially by providing food to others during the month of Ramadan.
Imaam Yakhsyallah also conveyed that patience should be understood as part of the process of fasting worship. This includes efforts to liberate Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestine, which also require a process that demands patience.
“Likewise, efforts to unite the Muslim ummah also require patience,” he added.
