Family of Palestine’s Ambassador to US Leaves Washington after Revocation of Visa

Ramallah, MINA — The family of the head of the Palestine mission to Washington, Husam Zomlot, left the United States on Sunday after the US revoked their visas following its decision to close the mission office, according to Zomlot.

He told WAFA that the US was being vindictive in its act and is causing an unprecedented diplomatic chaos with its uncalculated decisions.

Zomlot had to take both his children out of school and bring them home.

He said that he returned to Palestine in May after being recalled by President Mahmoud Abbas to protest the US decision to move its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem and expectation of the decision to shut down the mission.
