AWG CONDEMNS JUDAIZATION (ZIONIZATION) IN AL-QUDS

         Bogor, 4 Zulqa’idah 1434/9 Septermber 2013 (MINA) – Chairman of Aqsa Working Group (AWG), Agus Sudarmaji reminds Muslims that Al-Aqsa is now in dangerous condition.

         It was announced following the Jewish extremists entering into Al-Aqsa, City of Al-Quds , Palestine. Since Wednesday morning (4/9), groups of Jewish extremists guarded by soldiers and Israeli police stormed and performed ritual worship in Al- Aqsa for celebration of their new year called Rosh Hashana .

         Israeli police and soldiers have increased their presence, they also banned Muslim under 50 years old to enter Al – Aqsa Mosque. Since the presence of Jews in Al-Aqsa Mosque, Israeli government has arrested dozens of Palestinian Muslims and dozens more wounded in a confrontation with the Jewish extremists recently.

        “The problem that occurs in the Al-Aqsa Mosque is actually not a new issue, Israel has repeatedly desecrate Al-Aqsa Mosque, Jewish extremists are always trying to hurt Muslims,” Agus told to Mi’raj News Agency ( MINA ) .

         The presence of Jews occurred more often after the publication of law on the division of worship time for Muslim and Jewish worshipers at Al-Aqsha. This is one of Judaization (Zionization) efforts in the City of Al-Quds and where the Al -Aqsa Foundation for Islamic Waqf and Heritage reported there are 104 Jewish synagogues scattered around Al-Aqsa Mosque area.

         In 2020 Israel planned to complete the largest city under Al- Aqsa Mosque which can accommodate six million people .

         According to Agus Sudarmaji , Muslims of the world must take a firm stance and concrete action to stop the defamation of the third holiest mosque for Muslims after Al Ahram Mosque in Mecca and Nabawi Mosque in Medina.

         He also said the issue of Al- Aqsa Mosque is not belonging to the Palestinians alone but also to all Muslims wherever we are. Thus, only the unity of the Muslims under the command of an Imaam (caliphate), Al-Aqsa Mosque can be liberated as Umar bin Khattab and Salahuddin Al – Ayubi had liberated Al- Aqsa Mosque from the enemies of Allah.

         Chair of the AWG was expecting , the Muslims have continuously voiced support and defense of the Al – Aqsa Mosque , Muslims do not seem to be asleep. (T/P05/E1)
