ISRAELI FORCES DETAIN 14 PALESTINIANS ACROSS WEST BANK

West Bank, 9 Rajab 1435/8 May 2014 (MINA) – Israeli occupation forces launched a dawn on Thursday a campaign of mass arrests in the cities of the occupied West Bank, and detained 14 residents, mostly from the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas.

Local sources said that dozens of military vehicles stormed the village of Qarawat Bani Hassan in Salfit, raided dozens of houses, targeted activists and supporters of Hamas and detained ten of them, Alqassam quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

The sources pointed out that the detainees are, Qassam Ahmed Marei, Adnan Azzam Mari, Ali Ayed Assi, Izz al-Din Hamad Meri, Yahya Azmi Meri, Bilal Ali Assi, Mosab Mosa Mari, Mohamed Ezzat Mari, Fadi Bahgat Assi, Hazem Yaqoub Assi.

The sources pointed out that the occupation forces released at a later time three of them after questioning, they are: Qassam, Azzedine and Adnan Mari.

In the town of Aqraba, south of Nablus 10 Israeli patrolls broke into neighborhoods and detained Omar Khater during the campaign, while another forces raided the town of Beit Furik east of the city without any arrests.

In Jenin, Israeli occupation forces detained three young men from the camp, after raiding the house of the Martyr Mutassim Al Sabbagh, the detained are: Baha Samih Abu Sebaa, Khader Al Asmar Abu Qatna, and Mahmoud Tawfiq Qrini.

The occupation forces stormed the eastern district of the city, and raided several houses under the pretext of searching for wanted.

In Al Khalil, southern West Bank, Israeli forces detained four citizens after they raided the town of Halhoul, the detained are the two brothers, Mahmoud, 27, and Mohammed Jawad Wawi, 21, and Mohammed Tayseer Zamareh (23 years), and transferred them to an unknown destination .

The occupation forces raided the town of Dura in the south, and detained Jebreel Salama Al Sarha, and took him to an unknown destination. (T/P012/E01)
