Gaza, MINA – Medical sources in the Gaza Strip report that the death toll from ongoing Israeli military operations has reached 72,291 people.
The number of injured has climbed to 172,068 since October 7, 2023, according to reports cited by Jaridah Al-Quds on Sunday.
These figures reflect the continued military campaign targeting civilian areas and infrastructure across the Gaza Strip.
Hospital data indicates that within the past 24 hours, medical facilities recorded two new fatalities and 25 additional injuries. Meanwhile, rescue teams have recovered 756 bodies from the rubble of buildings previously struck in various places across Gaza.

Many victims are still believed to be trapped beneath collapsed structures, with ambulance and civil defense teams unable to reach them.
Sources stress that the reported figures likely do not represent the full scale of casualties, as numerous bodies remain buried under debris.
Civil defense and ambulance crews continue to face significant challenges accessing affected areas due to operational restrictions and ongoing strikes, further hindering rescue efforts.[]
