Israeli Settler Shot Dead in West Bank
Ramallah, MINA – A settler who was shot in the West Bank city of Nablus earlier on Tuesday was killed in the incident, KUNA reported, citing Israeli media.
The 35-year-old died at hospital succumbing to his wounds after he was described as being in critical condition.
The settler was attacked by an unknown drive-by shooter close to the illegal Israeli settlement of Havat Gilad, established on Palestinian land.
According to eyewitness reports, Israeli defence forces have opted to erect barriers in the perimeter of Nablus and are raiding nearby villages in search of the shooter.
Settlers are throwing rocks on Palestinian-owned cars, added the reports. (T/RS5/RS1)
