ZIONIST FORCES DISPLACE 30 PALESTINIAN FAMILIES IN JORDAN VALLEY

Nablus, 27 Rabiul Akhir 1435 / 27 February 2014 (MINA) – Israeli occupation forces forced Wednesday morning dozens of Palestinians to evacuate their houses in some Bedouin communities in the Jordan valley, under the pretext of  military training.

Aref  Daraghma, the mayor of al-Malih and neighboring Bedouin villages in the Jordan Valley, said, “ the Israeli occupation ordered the displacement of 30 families in al-Burj and al-Maita villages and the villages near KherbYazra in order to conduct military maneuvers around the residential houses and greenhouses.”

He considered the Israeli training is as the most brutal one for a long time in which hundreds of Israelisoldiers participated and the Israeli forces brought dozens of tanks, conducted Helicopter landing operations and used live ammunition.

“Remnants of military exercises are a real danger to environment and the people’s health,” he pointed, warning that these frequent displacements will expel the Bedouins from their lands.

Referring to the evacuation he said that it is the six time since the beginning of this year, according to ALRAY, Palestinian Media Agency report quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA).

It is noteworthy that the Israeli forces evacuated 400 Palestinian families during their continued military training in Jordan Valley. (T/E01/IR)
