MTT DONATES FOR INDONESIAN HOSPITAL IN GAZA

       Jakarta , 4 Dzulqa’dah 1434 /9 September 2013 (MINA) – Majelis Ta’lim Telkomsel (MTT) donates 650 million rupiah (58,586$ US) for Pharmacy room’s medical equipment in Indonesian Hospital (RSI) in Gaza Strip, Palestine.

       The donation was collected from its employee’s alms and charity and symbolically given by Chairuddin (Chairman of MTT) to Sarbini Abdul Murad (Chairman of the Presidium of the Medical Emergency Rescue Committee/MER-C), Thursday (5/9).

       “We thank you for the support and participation of Majlis Ta’lim Telkomsel for RSI development program . In God willing, the physical development of Indonesian hospital is scheduled to finish this year, ” Sarbini said in his speech after the event.

        He also said further efforts after the physical development of Indonesia Hospital in Gaza is the procurement of medical equipment and interior for every room.

        “Hopefully it will be followed by many other institutions or companies, so that RSI soon could be very useful for the Palestinian people,” he added.

         Meanwhile, Chairman of the MTT, Chairuddin expressed his gratitude to the employees who have shown their solidarity, which will be helpfull for Indonesian hospital development program in the Israeli blockaded area.

         According to the signed contract, the fund was devoted to the fulfillment of medical equipment and interior for Pharmacy room which located on its first floor.

          MER-C invites other agencies or companies to be part of this historic program in the development of  this solidarity hospital. Many rooms are still under construction, such as emergency room (ER), Surgery room, Intensive Care Unit, Laboratory, CT Scan, X – Ray room, and Medical Rehabilitation room . (T/P05/P03)
