PKPU CONSISTENTLY SUPPORT PALESTINIAN UNTIL AL-AQSA FREE

Jakarta, 10 Jumadil-Awwal 1435/11 March 2014 (MINA) – Managing Director (Chief Executive Officer – CEO) National Institute of Post humanitarian Care Justice Ummah (PKPU) Notowiguno Agung stated, the institution remained consistently help the Palestinians to Al Aqsa free.

It was announced by Agung when receiving the visit of Islamic Society, Abdulrahim M. Shehab (indigenous people of Gaza) which accompanied Aqsa Working Group (AWG) and Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) on Monday.

Shehab expressed his gratitude to PKPU and all Indonesian people who give great attention to the struggle of the Palestinian people, specially in the Gaza Strip. “Since seven years ago, Gaza is under blockade and the Israeli occupiers since the fall of Mursi in Egypt, Gaza’s condition gets worse,” he said.

Since 2013 PKPU develop plantations and olive bread factory in the Gaza Strip. in providing assistance, PKPU has been collaboration with the National Committee for the Palestinian People (KNRP) and the Committee of Solidarity with the Palestinian People (KISPA).

Agung who’ve been to Gaza in 2013 and states, the Palestinians, specially in Gaza need our help. As fellow Muslims, we have a responsibility to help them, “he said.

Since the overthrow of Egypt meiliter on Mursi, the military has destroyed hundreds of tunnels under Rafah border crossing with allegations that the tunnels used to smuggle weapons and fighters who had taken part in attacks against Egyptian security forces.

The tunnel is the only savior for Gazans who live in the Israeli siege. Palestinians use tunnels to carry essential supplies, such as food, medicines, cooking gas, gasoline, and cattle, to Gaza Strip which blockaded Israel.
