Jakarta, MINA – The BRI Super League featured a big match between Persija Jakarta and Persebaya Surabaya on Saturday at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Jakarta.
Persija, currently in third place in the standings, faced immense pressure after failing to win their last three matches. Meanwhile, Persebaya, in sixth place, came into the match with a narrow victory in their previous match.
Kemayoran Tigers coach Mauricio Souza deployed a 4-2-3-2 formation, while Bajul Ijo coach Bernardo Tavares deployed a 4-1-2-3 formation.In the third minute of the match, Persija put Persebaya under intense pressure with a corner kick opportunity.
The Kemayoran Tigers’ relentless attack failed to deter the Bajul Ijo.

Referee Candra highlighted an incident when Persebaya player Milos Raickovic (88) kicked Eksel Runtukahu (98) from behind inside the penalty area. Referee Candra then awarded a penalty.
Allano (17) stepped up to take the penalty. His cool kick was read by goalkeeper Andhika Ramadhani (52). However, the goalkeeper’s glove only made a gentle touch on the ball, which rolled unimpeded.
